WELCOME
The charitable objects of the RSPCA are to promote kindness and to prevent or suppress cruelty to animals.
The RSPCA Cheshire South West branch, covering Crewe, Nantwich, Winsford, Shavington, Audlem, Malpas and Bunbury, is one of a network of 175 branches throughout England and Wales. We are a separately registered charity working within the Rules, Policies and Guidelines of the national RSPCA based in Horsham. We are responsible for our own funding and managing local animal welfare work.
The branch is run by a committee of trustees, all volunteers, who are elected each year by the members.
Rehoming animals
We aim to support the work of the Cheshire Group Inspectors and Animal Collection Officers who are employed by the national RSPCA. Our role is to provide accommodation for animals who have been abused or are at risk and after assessment rehome them to suitable new homes. (More about rehoming...)
Neutering
The branch also provides financial assistance towards the cost of neutering pets and runs a joint neutering scheme with two Local Authorities. (More about neutering...)
Veterinary assistance
Where pet owners are unable to fund the cost of veterinary treatment, the branch can consider limited financial aid. (More about veterinary assistance...)
How you can help
Our work requires us to regularly raise funds to ensure we can continue to help as many animals as possible. You can now also help us to raise funds by simply searching the Internet! (More about how you can help...)
